Lots of people advise to avoid putting your home on the market during a holiday. This is generally good advice. But some people even want to take their home off the market over a holiday. That is definitely bad advice. Thanksgiving turned out to be a pretty good week in real estate sales. In fact, sales were 76% of what they were the week before thanksgiving in the 16 Mid Peninsula cities. There were new listings, but fewer, and the inventory definitely continued its decline.
